Windsor Hotel Grand Dining Room
Winner of the Silverspoon Award by Georgia Trend Magazine, the Grand Dining Room is a wonderful example of Victorian elegance, which can be seen in the original tile floor and the wrought-iron footed tables, reflecting the style of the Victorian period.
The Grand Dining Room is suitable for large receptions of up to 100 people. Due to its beauty and splendor, the Grand Dinning Room is often the site of wedding receptions, formal dinners and dances. The Dining Room is located on the second floor with elevator access. |

Ladies’ Tea Parlor
This beautiful Victorian-style room, decorated in pink and lavender colors, is suitable for small to medium sized groups (15-45). In the past, the ladies recoiled to the parlor for a cup of tea after dinner. The Parlor is perfect for meetings, dinners, reunions, bridesmaids’ luncheons, rehearsal dinners and small weddings. The room can be set up in theatre or reception style, and is equipped with high speed Internet service. Set in rounds of 8-10 can seat up to 40 people. The parlor is located on the second floor with elevator access, and is accessible to the front verandah facing historic downtown Americus. |

Dayton Room
The Dayton room was named after Mr. Howard Dayton, last owner of the Windsor, whose family donated the hotel to the City of Americus in 1978. This charming Victorian-style room is decorated in blue, gold and burgundy colors, and is suitable for medium sized groups (25-60). The Dayton Room is often used for corporate meetings, conferences, dinners and receptions. Set in rounds of 8-10 can seat up to 50 people. The room can also be set up in theatre of reception style, and is equipped with high speed Internet service. The Dayton Room is located on the second floor with elevator access. |

Americus Sumter Room
This room was recently renovated and can host large groups of 50-120. The Americus Sumter Room is the perfect room for large meetings, buffets, dinners, dances and weddings. Located on the first floor, the Americus Sumter room is accessible from the Windsor lobby and Windsor Avenue. |

Roosevelt Board Room
Called the “Lucky Room”, the Roosevelt Board was the headquarters for many successful local political campaigns. Franklin D. Roosevelt made a speech to the Chamber of Commerce from the adjoining balcony when he was Governor of New York in February 1928. The boardroom table in the Roosevelt Room is made of solid oak and was custom designed and constructed on site by local craftsman David Becton. This room is suitable for corporate meetings and small groups of 15 or fewer. The room has a private restroom and is located on the second floor, with elevator access. Coffee service and snacks can be provided at a charge. |

Lindbergh Private Dining Room
The Lindbergh room was named after Charles Lindbergh, who came to Americus in 1923 to buy a World War I airplane from a local war surplus center and took flying lessons here prior to his first solo flight. Some people still remember him playing pool across the street in the Allison Building. The Lindbergh Room is beautifully decorated in Victorian colors and is adjacent to the Grand dining Room. It seats twelve as a private dining room or meeting room, or fifteen for a small reception. |

Windsor Hotel Lobby
The beautiful three tier atrium lobby can also be used for large receptions and weddings, and offers the perfect environs for a luxurious reception. Entering the Windsor through the elegant double doors is like taking a step back in time onto the original marble floor surrounded by heart pine set in intricate geometric patterns, and illuminated by two magnificent chandeliers, circa 1890. The architecture of the lobby is Moorish and its distinctive features include the arches, wrought-iron opera box railings and hand-carved floral patterns in the balusters. Off the interior balcony are the Ladies Tea Parlor, the Dayton Room and Floyd’s Pub. |
