The Grand Dining Room allows guests at the Windsor Hotel to savor a sophisticated yet unpretentious dining experience in traditional Southern surroundings. A Southern buffet luncheon is served Monday through Friday, and on Sundays a wonderful brunch is offered. Gourmet dinner is served every night, except for Sundays. The chef's cuisine reflects specialties from around the country, as well as favorites from the local region. At the Grand Dining Room guests will experience a fine-dine ambiance, with great food and wines.

The Grand Dining Room is also a wonderful example of Victorian elegance. The tile floor is the original from when the hotel was first opened, and so well-restored that the local historical society will not allow the floor to be covered with wall-to-wall carpeting. The furnishings are reproductions, including the wrought-iron footed tables, reflecting the style of the Victorian period. Due to its beauty and splendor, the Grand Dinning Room is often the site of wedding receptions.

           

 

We serve lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner Monday through Saturday evenings.  Lunch on Sundays is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dinner reservations are recommended.
