Bridal Tower Suite:
A private staircase leads to the
Bridal Suite, which is located in the
Windsor round tower and overlooks the
historic district. Guests can have a
360 degree view of historic downtown
Americus. The suite features a custom
made demi-canopied king bed, and all
the furniture, fabrics, design and
colors used have been documented as
authentic Victorian in style.
Modern-day amenities are high speed
Internet service, remote control
television, individually controlled
heating and air-conditioning and
in-room coffee maker. Continental
breakfast is complimentary for guests.
The suite has accommodated various
famous and infamous guests over the
years. It is rumored that John
Dillinger or Al Capone spent the night
in the Suite with an armed bodyguard
posted at the foot of the stairs.
Special touches are available for
guests spending the night in the
Bridal Suite at an additional cost,
and include a bottle of champagne and
roses.
